Tasks and activities we have done in recent years include orienteering and expeditions (check out how our teams got on in the Waltham Walk last year here).  In 2019 we went on a summer camp to Whitecliff Bay on the Isle of Wight, following successful camps in North Norfolk in 2015 and 2017.  On Tuesday evenings we've done a grand prix evening (including our giant Scalextric track), first aid, cookery, road safety, a talk from The Animal Man, written and created our own stop motion videos, money and finance, bicycle maintenance, origami, astronomy, laserquest (at the best facility in the area - Mayhem), woodwork, electronics... and much much more!  We have also recently run a course on cryptology and codebreaking, starting out with a brief history of cryptology, and finishing with a detailed analysis of the Enigma machine used in WW2.  This course included elements of understanding semaphore, some practical electronics and even some hard-core statistics!  We also enjoy plenty of sports and games, particularly in the summer months... Canoeing/kayaking, football, rounders, widegames and orienteering have all made an appearance in our summer programme recently.  Oh, and there was also 'human hungry hippos'...

As with all the other sections, we try to meet the specific needs of individuals when we plan our programme.

Members of the Company Section aspire to gaining their President's Badge.  One of the requirements for this is attending a leadership training course, and taking up a leadership role within the company.  Some of our young men help out in the Juniors or Anchors.

At a time in their lives where things are changing quickly, the Company Section of the Boys' Brigade offers a safe place for young men to develop, with constructive activities planned and organised, and an emphasis on developing their own skills and talents, especially in the area of leadership.

There is some further information on the Company Section on our BB National Website.
