Next week, for our final activity of the summer session, we have organised a BBQ at Wandlebury Country Park in Cambridge.
This event has been organised specifically for parents to come along to, so parents, do please join us for a BBQ!
We will meet at Wandlebury at 7PM, and the evening will finish at Wandlebury at 8:45PM. As well as a BBQ, we will be organising a widegame for the boys in the park. Please come dressed appropriately – i.e. casual clothes with trainers, with a coat/waterproof if it looks damp or cold.
Directions for Wandlebury are as follows:
Take the B184 past the Chesterfords, and get on the A11 towards Cambridge (Stumps Cross). Stay on the A11 for five minutes or so, then take the sliproad left to A1307 towards Cambridge/Haverhill. At the roundabout, take 1st exit on to A1307 towards Cambridge. After approximately three miles, you will see Wandlebury signposted – you will need to get in the right hand lane and turn right into the park. Please take care doing this as there is fast traffic coming from the left. Please consult the signs regarding parking – you may need to buy a ticket.
If anyone is unable to make their own way to Wandlebury but would still like to come, please do contact me directly – we will have a few places available for transport for people that won’t be able to make it otherwise (obviously boys have priority for transport, not parents, sorry!).
