Our seniors enjoyed a murder mystery evening last night! Thanks to the chef for making a lovely meal of lasagne, vegetables and home made breads! Also thank you to our special lady guests who added a bit of glamour to the evening... and well done to the one or two of you who guessed... or even worked out who the murderer was. With so much information and many hidden secrets and plot twists, it was an intense evening for everyone at the home of Prince Reynard, who was our host for the evening. Set not long after the second world war, the plot exposed some as accused Nazi sympathisers, others as members of a resistance group, whilst others had dealings in the film industry. Alfred Higginbottom kept us entertained with his outlandish outfit and outrageous outbursts, while Princess Peacock garnered sympathy for her frailness and vulnerability. But, as is so often the case in these circumstances, no-one was quite who they seemed at the start of the evening. A special mention for the Prince, who's accent remained both authentic and consistent throughout the evening! So whodunit? Let's keep that a secret from the internet! Well done everyone on spending the evening in character and staying in the spirit of the event. Same time next year? Maybe we'll allow a bit more time if we do it again!
