Along with many other Junior Sections, we have held a special party to celebrate 100 years of Juniors. During the party we learnt about the history of the Junior Section and what life was like for boys in 1917. We played party games and had party food. At the end of the party, the boys were presented with a commemorative badge.
In September 1917, the Boys Brigade started “The Boys Reserve” to cater for boys aged 9 to 12 years of age. The Boys Reserve was renamed The Junior Section in 1966.
